This Privacy Policy explains how Sacred Sovereign Co (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you share when using shesadelaide.com (the “Platform”).

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information — name, email, username, password (hashed), and date of birth
Birth chart data — date, time, and location of birth for chart calculations (you provide this voluntarily)
Payment information — processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers
Usage data — lessons completed, journal entries, notes, AI coach conversations
Health data (optional) — if you connect Apple Health, we receive HRV, sleep, and cycle data with your explicit consent
Communications — emails you send us and our replies
Technical data — IP address, browser, device type, for security and analytics

2. How we use it

To deliver the products and services you purchased
To personalize your daily readings, charts, and coach interactions
To send transactional emails (welcomes, receipts, daily letters)
To improve the Platform and the curriculum
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
To comply with legal obligations

3. AI processing

Your AI coach conversations are sent to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) for processing. We do not train AI models on your conversations, and we configure providers to not retain prompts where possible. Treat every AI conversation as you would any other digital interaction — do not share information you would not put in writing.

4. Sharing your data

We do NOT sell your data. We share data only with:

Service providers — Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), OpenAI (AI processing), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), ConvertKit (email list)
Legal requirements — if required by court order or to protect our rights or yours
Business transfers — if we are acquired or merge with another company, your data may transfer with the business

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the data we have about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
Export your data in a portable format
Opt out of marketing emails (always — there is an unsubscribe link in every email)
Object to certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@shesadelaide.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data as long as your account is active. After deletion, we may retain anonymized usage data for analytics and minimum required records for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years for financial records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard security including HTTPS encryption, password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted database connections, and limited employee access. No system is perfectly secure — we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of any breach affecting your data.

8. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. By using the Platform, you consent to our use of essential cookies.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us immediately and we will delete it.

10. International users

We are based in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the US. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, the rights described above apply to you.
