Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email, username, date of birth, journal entries, assessment responses, lesson notes, and coach conversation transcripts. We also collect biometric data you choose to sync (HRV, sleep data, heart rate) from connected devices (Oura Ring, Apple Watch). We collect usage data via PostHog analytics (pages viewed, features used, session duration).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to: personalize your coaching experience; generate coach responses informed by your history; produce weekly insight reports; display biometric trends on your dashboard; detect crisis signals for safety (content is hashed, never stored in readable form); and improve Platform functionality. We do not sell your data. We do not use your journal entries or coach conversations for model training.

3. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete individual journal entries at any time. You may request full account deletion by contacting us at hello@shesadelaide.com. Upon deletion, all personal data including journal entries, assessments, biometric data, and coach transcripts are permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

4. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform: Vercel (hosting, serverless functions, blob storage); Neon (PostgreSQL database); Stripe (payment processing); Resend (transactional email); OpenAI (coach responses, speech transcription, embeddings); Anthropic (coach responses); ElevenLabs (voice synthesis); PostHog (analytics); Oura (biometric data sync via user-authorized OAuth). Each operates under its own privacy policy.

5. User Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; withdraw consent for data processing; and opt out of analytics tracking. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@shesadelaide.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. Safety flag content is stored only as a SHA-256 hash — we cannot read the original text. Biometric data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in our secured database.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management). We use PostHog for product analytics. You may disable analytics tracking in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
